PURPOSE:To obtain structure of an eave soffit easy to construct by fitting a horizontal member used for constructing an eave soffit setting bed between an upper horizontal piece and a lower horizontal piece of an eave soffit fixture to fix it to an exterior wall. CONSTITUTION:An upper corner of one end of a ceiling joist 6 is notched in the shape of a rectangle on an eave soffit setting bed 2, square timber is fitted and fixed to the notch to provide a horizontal member 3, a longer member 7 are contacted and fixed to the other end of the ceiling joist 6 to connect the other end, and an eave soffit material 1 is fixed to the lower surface of the setting bed 2. After that, a fascia board 5 is brought into contact with the longer member 7 and is screwed, and a vertical piece 9 of an eave soffit fixture 4 is brought into contact with an exterior wall surface 8 and is screwed. Then, the horizontal member 3 is mounted on a lower horizontal piece 11 of the fixture 4, an eave soffit is pushed against the exterior wall 8, and the horizontal member 3 is fitted to a gap between an upper horizontal piece 10 and a lower horizontal piece 11 to fix the setting bed 2 to the exterior wall surface 8. According to the constrictuion, the setting lad 2 and eave soffit material 1 can be fixed in advance, so that the eave soffit can be easily constructed by mounting the setting bed 2 and eave soffit at the same time. |
