PURPOSE:To automatically and timely correct an electronic parts mounting equipment for deviation in mounting position by a method wherein a mounting position correction is calculated based on the measured deviation of an electronic part in mounting position on a circuit board selected out of a prescribed number of them for sampling, and the previously registered mounting position data are, at least, partially renewed. CONSTITUTION:The deviation of a mounted circuit board placed on a board support table in mounting position is measured and stored in a circuit constitution memory (step f). One is added to the number of the measured circuit boards, and it, is judged that the number of the measured circuit boards attains to a prescribed number or not, and when attains, a mounting position correction is calculated based on the measurement results of positional deviations (step g, h, j). Furthermore, a mounting position correction and a mounting angle correction obtained in the directions of an X axis and a Y axis are added to those of electronic part mounting position data (step k). By this setup, a mounting operation in a following mounting cycle is carried out based on the renewed mounting position data. |
