PURPOSE:To obtain a linear motor in which safety and reliability are enhanced for the signal line between a sensor and a motor control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The linear motor comprises a stator block 1 including a stator 2, a permanent magnet 3, and a feeder board 4, a mover block 5 including an electromagnet 6 and a hanger member 13, a sensor 20 for detecting the position of the mover block, and a motor control circuit receiving a position detection signal from the sensor 20 and feeding power to the feeder board 4 in order to perform a predetermined speed control, wherein the sensor 20 is housed in the stator case 2 and a sensing part 21 corresponding to the sensor is provided on a hanger member 13. |
