PURPOSE:To obtain the receptor having a specific amino acid sequence, exhibiting a binding property to gastrin having gastric acid secreting action and cholecystokinin which is a neuropeptide and suitable for a screening a gastric acid secretion inhibitor and anxiolytic, etc. CONSTITUTION:A cholecystokinin-B/gastrin receptor having binding property to gastrin which is a peptide hormone composed of amino acid sequences, etc., expressed by formulas I to III and having action inducing acid secretion of gastric mucous membrane and cholecystokinin which is a neuropeptide which exists in central nerve peripheral nerve of alimentary system, etc., and being a new polypeptide useful as a gastric acid secretion inhibitor for treating gastric ulcer due to excess gastric acid secretion and as an anxiolyticde for treating mental diseases such as depression and anxiety. This polypeptide is obtained by extracting mRNA from nerve cell or gastric mucous membrane cell, synthesizing cDNA as a template, carrying out PCR reaction using a primer consisting of a part, of DNA of the polypeptide and manifesting the amplified DNA. |
