PURPOSE:To make the same interdiction state even in different document processing systems by storing the information of interdiction object characters in a document, loading the information of the area in a memory and performing an interdiction processing at the time of processing the document. CONSTITUTION:The interdiction character information of character data and graphic data, etc., is loaded in a main memory 17. Based on contents loaded in the memory 17, the processing of interdiction characters or the like is performed and document data are extended and displayed. A user sets desired interdiction conditions by performing clicking by a pointing device (PD) 15 and instructs completion. Corresponding to the instruction of the completion, the contents of an interdiction setting window are written in the interdiction condition storage part of the pertinent document in the memory 17 and composition is performed corresponding to the updated interdiction conditions. When the close of a document file is instructed by the instruction of the PD 15 of the user, the contents of the pertinent document in the memory 17 are written in the document file of a floppy disk 21 or a hard disk device 18, updated and preserved. |
