PURPOSE:To uniformly diffuse cold air returned from a cold storage chamber and to prevent excess adhesion of frost to the part of a cooler in a bottom freezer type refrigerator in which a freezing chamber is formed at the lowermost stage. CONSTITUTION:A flow passage 13 is formed between the back surface of an insulation cover 4 and the front surface of a cooler 6. Cold air discharged via a return duct is fed into the passage 13 and hence diffused toward the center of the cooler 6. Further, a fin pitch increased part is formed at the cooler 6, thereby further effectively preventing clogging among the fins. In addition, a deep bottom and a shallow bottom are formed at the passage 13, and the cold gas fed into the passage 13 is further uniformly diffused to the entire passage 13 according to the difference of the flowing resistances of the deep bottom and the shallow bottom. Simultaneously, even if frost adheres to the pitch increased part, the closure of the inlet of the passage 13 is prevented. |
