PURPOSE:To sufficiently reduce the power consumption at all times even in the case of carrier sensing and in the normal operation by operating a reception section only for a period required for the operation respectively in the searching state of a channel scheduled to be in use and in the usual operation. CONSTITUTION:When a control channel transits to a speech channel or only when a carrier sensing is executed due to occurrence of noise at a prescribed level due to interference with an adjacent channel and changed into other channel or the like, a 1st power saving pulse to be set over each sensing position with a margin is sent to a high frequency section 12. Then the high frequency section 12 is operated intermittently. On the other hand, a control section 22 sends a 2nd power saving pulse to the high frequency section 12 so as to be set with a margin corresponding to the slot scheduled in use to the high frequency section 12. Then the high frequency section 12 is operated intermittently. |
