<p>PURPOSE:To cope with a code pattern even if the structure of the code pattern itself is changed in the future by containing the processing information necessary for performing an edition processing of data in accordance with a restoration processing process reading the code pattern and restoring the pattern to an original multimedia information by the code pattern. CONSTITUTION:Multimedia information is delivered to a multimedia paper (MMP) recording device 26 via layers 4 and 5, and the device 26 prints and records the received data as a dot code pattern which is possible to be optically read by layers 1 to 3 on an information recording medium 30 such as paper, etc. In an MMP reproducing device 28, the code pattern recorded on the medium 30 is imaged, the edition processing of data is performed in accordance with a restoration processing process from a layer 1 to a layer 3 or a layer 5, which is reversed at the time of a recording, and the data as a result is delivered to a reproduction side. On the reproduction side, the data is reproduced to an application process Y via the processing functions of the layers 4 and 5 as necessary, which is the opposite state to a recording side, and multimedia information is delivered.</p> |
