PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic flaw detecting device, which can make a head follow at the accurate position from the end of a body to be tested even in the case where a gap between a probe head and the body to be tested. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a gap between a probe head 4 and a test piece is increased, since the following sensor voltage becomes plus, the minus direction moving command is output from a following sensor comparing circuit 17, and the probe head 4 is moved to the inside of the test piece. At this stage, since a probe 2a catches a reference defect 7a in the defect detection range thereof, the defect echo is detected, and since a reference defect 7b is out of the defect detection range of a probe 2b, the defect echo does not achieve the defect judgement value. The defect signal of the only probe 2a is transmitted to a probe head position correction control circuit 15, and a display circuit 14 displays that the probe head is not positioned at the appropriate position. |
