PURPOSE:To form an image under an image forming condition according with the characteristic of a photoreceptor by controlling the processing means of a unit in accordance with information transmitted to a main body by a transmitting means in the case of attaching the unit in the main body. CONSTITUTION:When an optional photoreceptive drum 25 is attached to the main body, a projecting member 25c fixed on a shaft 25a is fixed in a regular direction with respect to the main body. The drum 25 is coupled with the main body side in a state where it is fitted in a bearing 24, and freely rotated with respect to the shaft 25a. When an upper main body 14 is rotated downward as shown by an arrow E and joined with a lower main body to be closed, the member 25c abuts on a volume rotating member 16 and rotates the member 16 in accordance with the size of the member 25c. By rotating a sliding member interlocked with the member 16, the desirable latent image forming condition accordant with the characteristic of the drum is automatically obtained. |
