PURPOSE:To provide an ink tank having means for avoiding the interruption of printing due to ink deficiency, a head cartridge and a printer. CONSTITUTION:An ink tank body 51 contains ink 56 to be discharged from the discharge port of a print head 52. A reserve tank R is provided in the body 51. The tank R is formed of the cylindrical wall of the interior of the body 51, and a piston 53. Reserved ink is supplied into the body 51 by the movement of the piston 53. |
