PURPOSE:To prevent high-voltage pulses from being transferred to circuits located behind an F-type connector so as to prevent damage to and malfunctioning of the circuits and to simplify the circuits located behind the F-type connector by causing a high voltage applied to a signal line to be discharged to a ground portion via an air discharging gap portion. CONSTITUTION:A discharging projection 2B is provided halfway between the front-end male terminal 2C and rear-end junction 2A of the signal line 2 of an F-type connector 1 to form the cylindrical portion 3A of a ground portion 3 and an air discharging gap portion 3E. If a high-voltage pulse generated by a thunderbolt or the like is put on the signal line 2 with the F-type connector 1 being connected to the mating connector, it is discharged from the discharging projection 2B to the ground portion 3A via the gap portion 3E and absorbed by a frame earth. Thus the high-voltage pulse can be prevented from being transmitted to circuits located behind the F-type connector. Therefore, the need for taking measures against the high-voltage pulse for the circuits is eliminated, resulting in the simplification of the circuits.
