<p>PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic tape recording and reproducing device with the function of reproducing a video CD in which the operation at the time of recording a video CD signal to a magnetic tape can be simplified. CONSTITUTION:When an operator operates an operation part 1 in order to start the recording operation from a video CD to a magnetic tape, a decoding part 5 starts the decoding of the image and the sound signal of the video CD, the video CD drive part 3 of which starts driving in accordance with the command of a control part 2 to output the decoded signal to a recording part 6. The recording part 6 starts recording the signals to a magnetic tape, the magnetic tape driving part 4 of which starts driving. After that, when the decoding part 5 decodes the image and the sound signal of the video CD to the end and outputs a reproduction end signal, the decoding part 5 stops the decoding of the video CD, the video CD drive part 3 of which stops driving and stops outputting in accordance with a command from the control part 2. The recording part 6 stops recording to a magnetic tape, the magnetic tape driving part 4 of which stops driving.</p> |
