<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for manufacturing a sheet material by supplying a sheet material which demonstrates an excellent impregnation for resin and a fibrous material and makes a molding with high strength and at the same time, reduces the load of cleaning a manufacturing device. CONSTITUTION:A paste-like resin 3 is supplied to the surface of paired rotating rolls 1, 1 through a doctor blade 2, then a fibrous material 4 of a short cut size and resin 3 are fed into a space between these rolls 1, 1 from the top, and are allowed to pass through a clearance between the rotating rolls 1, 1 to impregnate the fibrous material 4 with the resin 3. Further, the fibrous material 4 impregnated with the resin 3 sticking to the surface of the roll 1 is scraped off using a scraper device 5. In addition, the fibrous material 4 is accumulated between two long film-like supports 6 located below the roll 1, so that the film-like support 6 sticks to the outer surface of the fibrous material and thus a sheet material consisting of the fibrous material 4 impregnated with the resin is obtained.</p> |
