<p>PURPOSE:To generate symbol period information more accurately and to decode information at a reception section by sending a reference carrier together with a reference level while the phase of the carrier is changed by 90 deg. for each symbol period in an OFDM signal transmitter-receiver. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter-receiver is provided with an IFFT circuit 3 generating a multi-value QAM modulation signal, a guard interval setting circuit 4 configured to send repetitively part of a modulation signal for a prescribed time, a symbol period setting circuit 3S and a clock signal generating circuit 10 driving each circuit, and a carrier of the degree in existence for a period of an integral number of multiple of nearly a half wavelength is used for a reference carrier at a guard interval set by the guard interval setting circuit 4 and the phase of the reference carrier is changed by an odd number of multiple of nearly 1/4 wavelength for each symbol period by the circuit 3S and the carrier is sent.</p> |
