The I/O lines and time slot are not fixed so that the ratio of stationary lines to inner lines connected to a PCM audio signal exchanger can be adjusted by an user. The exchanger includes a digital audio signal exchanger(200) for exchanging 256 channel PCM audio signals, a clock signal generator(300) for generating clock signal and synchronous signal, an audio signal transmitter(400) for converting analog signal to digital signal and digital signal to analog signal and for sending digital audio signal and analog signal through corresponding lines.
