Described is a method of manufacturing a packaging container for free-flowing materials, with walls (2, 3), a floor (4) and a top (5) in which at least that part (13) of the top (5) to which a closure (9) is fitted is made of deep-drawable plastic, the closure (9) having an inside element (10) and a cap. The method is characterized in that the inside element (10) of the closure (9) is formed in one piece by deep drawing, so that it projects outwards from the part (13) of the container top (5) made of plastic. Preferably during and/or after the deep drawing of the inside element (1) of the closure outwards, a hollow is formed in the flat floor (4) of the container by deep drawing in towards the interior of the container. The closure (9) can be pushed into a recess (23) in a top tool (16) or into the cap which is held in position there while the inside element (10) of the closure is being formed. |
