<p>This invention provides for the application of a flat structure which when viewed from above is of substantially meandering shape and spacer supports between objects located in at least one row. At least two rows of objects may be transported in the direction of transport, spaced apart and offset with respect to each other, and the flat structure is extended longitudinally and/or transversely with respect to the moving position, in a vertical position between the objects, and the objects in the rows are subsequently moved towards each other transversely with respect to the direction of transport so that in this way the structure, when seen from above, is substantially deformed in a meandering shape through contact with the objects themselves. The flat structure is preferably manufactured from board and/or expanded material. The invention does not only offer the advantage that the spacer supports can be applied continuously at a very high speed, another advantage lies in the fact that with the flat structure of a single thickness it is possible to maintain a great variety of objects (i.e., e.g. bottles or bottle holders of a variety of shapes) at a distance from each other. <IMAGE></p> |
