PURPOSE:To enable the expression of the mixed color of two colors and to prevent a deterioration in the image of a monochrome part by attaining the exposure of a first color after electrification, normal development, then, the exposure of the second color stronger than that of the first color and reversal development as the development of the second color. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 is uniformly electrified by an electrifier 2 and then, the electrostatic latent image of the first color is formed with the first exposure 3, to form the image of' the first color on the photoreceptor 1 by a first developing machine 4. In the developing machine 4, the normal development is executed and a nonexposed part is developed. Continuously, the electrostatic latent image of the second color is formed on the photoreceptor 1 with the second exposure 5. The potential of the exposed part of the electrostatic latent image of the second color forms a potential well deeper than that of the first color because the exposure intensity of the second color is stronger than that of the first color. The development of the second color is the reversal one and attained by a second developing machine 6 capable of developing only a region where the second exposure is executed and the potential is low. At this time, the second exposure 5 is attained through the toner developed by the first developing machine 4 for the normal development, to superimpose the toner formed by the developing machines 4 and 6 and express the mixed color. |
