<p>PURPOSE:To produce a toner which hardly causes a toner spent due to generation of particulates and is usable most suitably for an electrophotographic copying machine having a toner recycling mechanism. CONSTITUTION:This toner is composed of at least binder resin component, colorant and positive charge type additive, and this binder resin component is composed of 60-90wt.% polyester component and 40-10wt.% styren-acryl component, and in the polyester component, hydroxy value (OHV) is 10-50, acid value (AV) is 10-50, ratio of the hydroxy value to the acid value OHV/AV is more than 0.5 and less than 2.0, and in a mol.wt. distribution calculated by a gel permeation chromatography, wt. average mol.wt. is 20,000 80,000, and in the styren-acryl component, the component has carboxyl group in a side chain of high polymer, and at least one peak or shoulder at a region of mol.wt. of 2-5 million in the mol.wt. distribution calculated by the gel permeation chromatography.</p> |
