PURPOSE: To provide a remote access medial network for minimizing a document processing related with a health care service. CONSTITUTION: A remote access medical network 10 includes an insurance network for processing an insurance fee payment bill. Remote terminals 14-20 at a health care service provider side transmit the insurance fee bill to an insurance network. Card readers 32, 36, 40, and 44 connected with the remote terminals 14-20 read information related with a patient from a health care card 50 of the patient for completing the pertinent insurance fee bill, and reads the payment information from the health care card 50 for completing benefits to the health care service provider. The health care card 50 of the patient is preferably a SMART card. This SMART card can be used for payment to the health care service provider. An insurance fee is paid by transmitting the insurance fee payment bill to the insurance network. The insurance fee is electronically transferred to the bank account of the service provider through an economic network 13.
