PURPOSE:To provide a decision making device which can always make decision within a given time and also can ensure the high decision making precision according to the given time. CONSTITUTION:An initial action.plan generator 2 produces plural action plans based on the data, etc., received from an input device 1 and stores these plans in an action plan pool 3. An evaluater 4 evaluates the action plans stored in the pool 3. An action plan updating unit 5 has its operation time set by a timer 7 and updates the action plans stored in the pool 3. A retrieval end deciding unit 6 decides the end of its operation when the expected effect value of an action plan stored in the pool 3 exceeds the threshold value alpha, the time of indulgence set by the timer 7 has passed, that is, a prescribed end condition is satisfied. Then, the unit 6 reads the optimum or the second optimum action plan out of the pool 3 and sends it to an output device 8. |
