PURPOSE:To reduce a fear that a signal interconnection is disconnected even when a base film for a film wiring board is broken. CONSTITUTION:A film wiring board 2 is provided with a base film 5. A reinforcement plate 12 is installed at one end part on the surface of the base film 5. Signal interconnections 6 are formed on the rear surface of the base film 5 so as to be parallel with its side faces. Dummy patterns 14 are formed on both outer sides in the arrangement direction of the signal interconnections 6. The dummy patterns 14 are inclined with reference to the side faces of the base film 5 near the boundary part between the base film 5 and the reinforcement plate 12. In this case, when the base film 5 is broken along the reinforcement plate 12 from the side face in the boundary part between it and the reinforcement plate 12, this breakage does not reach the dummy patterns 14 vertically, but it reaches them obliquely, and the base film 5 is broken along the dummy patterns 14. As a result, the signal interconnections 6 formed at the inner side of the dummy patterns 144 hardly disconnect. |
