PURPOSE:To provide a data transmission system in which the collision of signals between a terminal equipment in a unit and a radio transmitter-receiver on a wired communication channel is prevented. CONSTITUTION:Units U1 to U3 are formed, in which one unit is formed by interconnecting a terminal equipment T and a radio transmitter-receiver S with a communication line L and a radio signal is sent among plural units U1 to U3 and carrier sense is implemented in the signal transmission through the communication line L from the terminal equipment T to the radio transmitter-receiver S in this data transmission system. When the radio transmitter-receiver S of a unit among the units U1 to U3 receives the radio signal from the radio transmitter-receiver S of the other units U1 to U3, a data transmission inhibit signal from a data transmission inhibit signal generating section is sent to the communication line L for a period required for the processing from the reception till the conversion into a wired signal and the transmission, and when a carrier is sensed by the terminal equipment T, since the data transmission inhibit signal is sent onto the communication line L, the collision of signals does not take place by sending the wired signal from the terminal equipment T. |
