The unit consists of a hollow housing (2) with a covering plate (3), containing a rotary gear (4) with a peg (7) lying parallel to the axis (5) of the unit and eccentric in relation to it. The peg drives a lever (13) and crank (20a,20b) mechanism which is articulated about a pivot (21) and creates an alternating rotary motion in an output shaft (10) from the rotation of the gear. The inner face of the covering plate has a thrust surface (27a,27b) for the end of the crank (20a) on the level of the pivot. It also has a peripheral seal (33) between the upper edge (50) of the housing and the closing plate, while the thrust surface has at least one circular track situated concentrically with the output shaft.
