PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient air supply quantity without largely altering the temperature environments of a kitchen room and an adjacent room by opening an air supply hole at the ceiling of the kitchen room and introducing the atmosphere of an attic to the front surface side of a range hood via the hole. CONSTITUTION:An inverted L-shaped air supply passage 9 connected to communicate with an air supply hole 8 opened at the upper end with the ceiling 7 of a kitchen 1 and opened at its lower end is formed at the front side of a range hood 4. An air supply and exhaust device is so formed as to introduce the air of an attic from the hole 8 via the passage 9 and from the lower end of the front surface of the hood 4 into the kitchen 1 is constructed thereby to introduce the air of the attic having almost no difference from the temperature in the kitchen 1 into the kitchen 1, and hence the temperature of the kitchen 1 is not remarkably lowered by the exhausting of a ventilating fan 6. Since insufficient air supply to cause the kitchen 1 to become a negative pressure is eliminated as well, the air of the adjacent room is not fed to the kitchen 1, and hence the heat load of a cooler/heater is not increased. Further, the sufficient air supply amount can be obtained. |
