Sepn. of fats and solids from kitchen effluents

Effluents carrying fats can be sepd. and partially purified in a sepn. vessel (1). The vessel has an effluent inlet (2) and outlet (3) and a sealed cover (5). The vessel is lined by a bag (10) of biodegradable and/or combustible material which catches any decanted and floating material. The vessel inlet opens inside the bag and the vessel can be drained by a lower outlet (4) to allow removal of the bag and captured impurities.
