PURPOSE:To perform standby control under communication conditions respectively suited to the various kinds of communication modes in which a mobile station is placed relating to the standby control in a base station and the mobile station. CONSTITUTION:The base station 11 simultaneously reports standby control information provided with the plural kinds of respective suited standby conditions corresponding to the respective kinds of the communication modes to which the respective mobile stations 12 belong as the standby conditions of the respective mobile stations 12 by providing it in report information. On the other hand, the respective mobile stations 12 recognize which one of the plural kinds of the communication modes the communication mode of the present station belongs to, extract the standby conditions corresponding to the recognized communication mode from the report information and execute the standby control under the extracted standby conditions. |
