ELECTRIC CONNECTOR AND ITS METHOD OF APPLICATION

PURPOSE: To provide a short electric connector to establish electrical pathway between two electric members such as print circuit boards. CONSTITUTION: This electric connector includes a base 12 and a housing 24. A plurality of flexible connector arms 20 having a first edge 14 and a second edge 18 are attached to the base 12 of an insert part 11. The housing 24 has an opening 26 which receives the base 12. A clamp can be used to contact and hold electric members 34 and 38 with the edge of connector arm 20 against the housing 24. By locking electric members 34 and 38 to the housing, the edge of connector arm 20 is pushed against the electric members 34 and 38 to establish electrical pathway between electric members passing through the connector arm 20.
