PURPOSE:To provide a shift lock device for a shift lever device which is constituted to improve assembling ability and facilitate management of precision and increases a range applicable to a different kind of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A shift lock device 30 is used for a gate type sift lever device 10 and a stopper 34, a solenoid 44, and a position detecting switch 48, of which the shift lock device consists, are assembled to a bracket 32 to form a single unit. The shift lock device 30 is brought into the unit is mounted on the shift lever 12. This constitution improves assembling ability when the shift lock device is applicable for the shift lever device 10, facilitates management of precision, and uses a part in common and standardizes the part or automates assembly of the parts, and reduces a cost. |
