PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor memory which can efficiently discriminate whether a redundant bit is used or not. CONSTITUTION:When the potential of a power supply is raised, a previously stored output state corresponding to whether a row 3 and a column 4 of a redundant memory cell are used or not, is generated from a flip flop circuit 5. And when it is detected that a specific address is selected by a specific address detecting gate 67, the output state caused in the flip flop circuit 5 is outputted to the outside by switching operation of a transistor 62 through a transistor 62, a sense amplifier 63 and a data output buffer 64. Thus, it can be discriminated whether the row 3 and the column 4 of the redundant memory cell are used or not based on outputted information. |
