METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PICTURE PROCESSING

PURPOSE:To provide a method and a device for picture processing which realize sufficient security of internal data in a picture processor which can be controlled by an external apparatus like a host computer. CONSTITUTION:Internal data in a printer part 2 can be accessed through a computer interface part 7 by a computer 12 as the external apparatus, and a core part 10 discriminates the data classification of internal data in the printer part 2 as the access object to determine whether access from the computer should be permitted or not.
