PURPOSE:To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device which can promptly rewrite image data and improve the plotting rate. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of frame buffer memory 101 are used. The depth coordinate Z of the image which has been stored in the data bank memory 2 of the first frame buffer memory 101 and being displayed at present is compared with a newly input depth coordinate Z by a comparison unit 8a to output the signal of compared results ZP from an output terminal PASS-OUT for the compared results. On the other hand, color data C which is stored in the data bank memory 2 of the second frame buffer memory 102 is subjected to blending processing to be rewritten by an image processing unit 8b in response to the signal of compared result ZP which is outputted from the terminal PASS- OUT and inputted through an input terminal PASS-IN for the compared result.
