PURPOSE:To form a clear image without staining by preventing scattered toner from being stuck and accumulated on the surface of a bristle cutting blade opposed to a developing roll. CONSTITUTION:Developer 25k passing the corner part 25e of the bristle cutting blade is carried in contact with all the surface of the bristle cutting blade opposed to the developing roll 25a by setting the width of the surface of the bristle cutting blade opposed to the roll 25a to 0.3-1mm. Therefore, the scattered toner is always removed by the developer 25k. Since the clearance angle thetaof the bristle cutting blade is set to 30-45 deg., the density of a developer brush becomes low at the time of recovering the developer, and the developer brush comes in contact with the clearance surface 25f of the bristle cutting blade even when the developer brush is high in height. |
