PURPOSE:To decrease the load of a CPU for controlling the driving of a stepping motor by providing a data transfer device, which fetches the data into an exciting register when an exciting pattern table outputs the data of the specified address. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 dedicated for control of a stepping motor 7 sets the exciting pattern of the stepping motor 7, which is connected to a data transfer device 2 at the time of initial setting, with an exciting pattern table 4. Then, the rotating direction and a pattern counter are specified at the starting time of driving. During the operation of the stepping motor 7, the pulse width for a pulse generator 3 is set, and the rotating speed is determined. The output of the pulse width is inputted into the exciting pattern table 4, and the address is written into an exciting register 5. The written data are fetched by a data transfer device 2, and the exciting pattern is amplified by an amplifier 6. Therefore, the load of the CPU can be reduced. |
