PURPOSE:To provide a copying device to which a printer function is added by using an analog system copying machine whose cost is low and which is excellent in image quality as a base. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic copying device is provided with an electrifying means 12 and exposing means 3 to 10 for forming an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor 11; a developing means 14 for developing the electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor 11; paper supply means 20, 22 and 23 and a transfer means 15 for transferring the developed image to paper 21; a fixing means 25 for fixing the transferred image on the paper 21; a cleaning means 16 for cleaning the photoreceptor 11 after transfer; a destaticizing means 17 destaticizing the photoreceptor 11 after cleaning. In this device, the exposing means 3 to 10 are a scanning type exposing device, where an optical shutter array 18 is installed at a part of an exposure path. By controlling the shutter array 18 according to an image signal so that exposing light may selectively pass, the function as a printer is obtained. |
