PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and inexpensive image forming device while the noise at the time of roughly reading an image is made silent by making the moving speed of a sheet in an image roughly reading mode lower than the moving speed of an image reading means in an image fixedly reading mode and making the light quantity of an original exposing lamp in the image roughly reading mode smaller than that in the image fixedly reading mode. CONSTITUTION:By utilizing an effect that the time required for changing an original is shorter in the image roughly reading mode than in the image fixedly reading mode, reading speed by moving the original in the image roughly reading mode is made lower than that by moving the image reading part in the image fixedly reading mode so that the productivity of 1 to 1 in the image roughly reading mode is adjusted to that in the image fixedly reading mode. By making the moving speed of the surface of a photoreceptor in the image roughly reading mode lower than that in the image fixedly reading mode, the light quantity of the original exposing lamp 46 is reduced without lowering the light quantity for exposing the image on the photoreceptor. |
