PURPOSE:To sufficiently suppress the vibration and the noise of an indoor unit and to reduce in size and weight the unit to place a compressor in the unit. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal helical blade type compressor 8 is installed in the housing 4 of an indoor unit l by disposing it above a crossflow fan 5. The compressor 8 is elastically supported to support plates 21, 22 protruding forward from a back surface plate 4a. The plates 21, 22 are provided near a fulcrum O to the indoor wall of the housing 4, i.e., a wall hanging hook 13. Thus, the compressor 8 can be placed without increasing in size and weight the unit 1, and the noise, the vibration of the unit 1 can be suppressed. |
