PURPOSE:To inform pedestrians and the driver of the driving condition of an electric car by sound. CONSTITUTION:Speakers 16 and 19 for issuing sounds to the outside of a car are fitted to the car body. Constitution is so made that an alarm sound may be generated from each speaker when the car body is on a drivable condition, and the volume or/and quality of this alarm sound is/are varied in accordance with the driving condition. Pedestrians can recognize the speed, load, and acceleration/deceleration condition of the car by hearing and telling the volume and quality of the alarm sounds produced by the speakers 16-19 from each other. |
