MANUFACTURE OF MULTILAYER PRINTED-CIRCUIT BOARD AND DESIGNING TOOL

PURPOSE: To provide a method for manufacturing a multilayer print circuit board by introducing a simultaneous parallel method and tool. CONSTITUTION: A designing tool is used. A knowledge base means is provided with a print circuit board cross-section specification parameter related with transmission line parameter data, and an○aIf...then...' production rule for lamination, positioning, circuitization, and test procedure. Print circuit board design starts with the input of a print circuit board design parameter and a performance parameter to an input and output interface by a user. Next, a knowledge base production rule is applied to the print circuit board design and the performance parameter, and a set of cross-section design suited to a user designation parameter is generated. The print circuit board is assembled according to one of the generated cross-section design.
