The device is for balancing a drum (14) rotatable around a horizontal axis (18), pref. a drum for accommodating washing in a washing machine or spin drier. The drum has a closed and an open end and at its closed end is coupled to a drive arrangement for its rotation. The drum is provided with a closed ring-shaped track where curvature follows that in the drum periphery and in which at least two bodies are movably arranged. The drum is provided with at least two axially directed tracks (25,26,27) distributed symmetrically along its periphery, in each of which a movable body (28,29,30) is arranged. The drum on its inside is provided with at least two symmetrically distributed, axially directed pick-up milled formations which work in conjunction with the washing material during the drum rotation. Such formations are formed to house or directly comprise the axial tracks. |
