PURPOSE:To facilitate positioning of an electric wire relative to a connector by integrally arranging in a band shape a plurality of the electric wires by an insulating coating, forming a flat cable comprising a trunk and branch parts, and providing a joint device on the trunk to electrically short-circuit the branch parts there between. CONSTITUTION:In a flat cable integrally arranging in a band shape a plurality of electric wires 11 by an insulating coating, a trunk part 12 and branch parts 13, 14, with one side end part of this trunk part 12 branching into a plurality of parts, are formed. Of a plurality of the electric wires 11 constituting this trunk part 12, a joint device 15, connecting two or more the electric wires to electrically short-circuit the branch parts 13, 14, is provided to constitute wire harness 10. Further in the joint device 15, two short-circuiting metal fittings are provided to connect the electric wire 11 short-circuited corresponding to the branch parts 13, 14. Thus by facilitating a process of cutting the flat cable 10 and a process of fitting the electric wire 11 in connectors 16, 17, 18, efficiency of manufacture is improved. |
