PURPOSE:To provide a document processing method and device capable of easily reusing a retrieved result. CONSTITUTION:When a character string is retrieved by character string retrieving processing 111 under a prescribed retrieving condition, a retrieved position (indicated object) to be a retrieved result is stored correspondingly to a comment in an indicated object group column in an indicated object group correspondence table 311. Indicated object list displaying processing 113 displays the contents of the comment column in the table 311 as a list 501 of indicated objects. When a required comment is selected from the list 501, an indicated object group corresponding to the selected comment is specified and indicated objects included in the specified group are successively displayed on a document window 460 so as to be identified. Consequently, a retrieved result can be reused by using a comment corresponding to a retrieved result and operability for the reuse of each retrieved result can be improved. |
