PURPOSE:To generate a translated document without correction-operating a format by means of a manual operation even if the routine format of an original language differs from that of a target language. CONSTITUTION:A routine form holding part 14 holds data on the corresponding relation of the routine forms of the original language and the target language and that showing the corresponding relation of respective character frames. A routine form processing part 16 extracts a character string included in the respective character frames from a document being the object of translation and requests the translation to a translation part 15. The translation part 15 translates the requested character string and returns it to the routine form processing part 16. The routine form processing part 16 generates the translated document by inserting the translated result into the routine form of the target language based on held data of the routine form holding part 14. |
