PURPOSE:To facilitate the insertion of an electrode to a case to improve productivity, and also improve reliability and cycle characteristic. CONSTITUTION:This organic electrolytic secondary battery is a flat organic electrolytic secondary battery consisting of a positive electrode 7 having LixMO2 (M is one kind or more of transition metals) as a positive electrode active material and a negative electrode 5 having a carbon material capable of doping/ dedoping lithium. The electrode bodies 5, 7 are nipped in both sides by pressing plates 8.
