<p>PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction due to the overflow of a counter which measures the lapse of time from occurring by deleting the registration of a virtual line when no data to be sent out next exists for a while after the data is sent out. CONSTITUTION:A second threshold time calculation part 104 reads in velocity control information for the virtual line on which the data is sent out in a sending judging part 103 from a virtual line managing part 101, and stores, by calculating the time of a second threshold value in the managing part 101. A second threshold time judging part 105 compares the time calculated by the calculation part 104 with the present time, and issues a request to delete the registration of the virtual line arriving at the time of the second threshold value to the managing part 101. Therefore, since the registration of the time after the second threshold value on the managing part 101 is deleted and velocity control is performed from an initial value, the time using the velocity control information set previously is limited. Therefore, no error due to the overflow occurs in an arithmetic operation, and average velocity control can be accurately performed, which improves transfer performance.</p> |
