摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a liquid crystal display device by averting a voltage drop by wiring resistance, an increase in the number of production stages, etc. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device is produced by forming transparent pixel electrodes 13, nonlinear resistance elements 15 and signal lines 14 on one substrate 11. Each nonlinear resistance element 15 has a structure consisting of an upper electrode/nonlinear resistance film/lower electrode/ nonlinear resistance film/upper electrode. The upper electrode of the nonlinear resistance element 15 is formed as a magnetic electrode 17 and the lower electrode as a metallic electrode 18 and this element is formed to the structure consisting of the transparent electrode/nonlinear resistance film/metallic electrode/nonlinear resistance film/transparent electrode. The signal line 14A is composed of a signal line A part extending along the transparent pixel electrode and a signal line B part 14b for connecting the signal A part to the nonlinear resistance element 15. The signal line A part is formed of the same material as the material of the metallic electrode and the signal line B part is formed of the same material as the material of the transparent electrode or the transparent pixel electrode.</p>
