PURPOSE:To easily form a bypassing oil line equipped with a relief valve in parallel with a controlling oil line even through the front fork to which this invention is to be applied, is embodied in a small size and has a comparatively small cylinder in the inside diameter. CONSTITUTION:Opposing to a piston 7 a bulkhead member 19 is installed on a retaining member 8 installed in connection with a piston rod 9, and a controlling oil line 21 and a limiter passage 22 are configured as holding a serial condition with the pressure side port 11 of the piston 7 with this bulkhead member 19. A control valve 23 is is installed as operating in the direction of closing the controlling oil line 21 when the set value is exceeded by the rate of flow of the working oil flowing through the pressure side port 11 with reference to the controlling oil line 21. Also a bypassing oil line 46 is furnished as leading to the pressure side port 11 of the piston 7 via a relief valve 35 installed on the bulkhead member 19 over the range from the retaining member 8 to bulkhead member 19 in parallel with the controlling oil line 21. |
