PURPOSE:To provide a travelling controller of a carrier truck wherein there is no necessity for making the carrier carriage having no assignment of its stopping operation perform an unnecessary low-speed traveling, and thereby, its cycle time can be shortened, and also, equipment costs can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A travelling controller of a carrier truck which controls the carrier truck self-propelled along the carrier railway wherein stations are provided midway and plurality of zones are set. In this controller, a memory means 22 for memorizing both the zones having respectively the stations for the carrier carriage to be stopped therein and the positions of the stations present in the respective zones, and a present-speed computing means 23 for computing the travelling speed of the carrier carriage are provided respectively. Further, in this controller, a means 26 for computing the position of the carrier truck present in each zone and a means 29 which on the basis of the position of the station in each zone, the present position and actual travelling speed of the carrier truck in each zone and its predetermined deceleration, computes the position for the stopping operation of the carrier truck to be started therefrom in each zone are provided respectively. |
