<p>PURPOSE:To attain high speed operation by providing this fast computing element with plural 1st calculating means for calculating the sum/difference of plural variables or constant times of the variables and a processing means for shifting the outputs of the 1st calculating means only by the previously fixed number of digits and executing the batch adding processing of plural calculation results. CONSTITUTION:Eight original data/calculation data are simultaneously inputted to a preaddition part 10, which previously calculates the sum/difference (which is found out by the records of cosine constant values) of the input data themselves and the sum/difference (which is found out by the digit shift of cosine constant values) of the constant times of the input data. Then a post addition part 20 calculates partial products by digitshifting the results of the preaddition part 10 to determined positions and inputting the shifted results to an adder group and summing respective partial products, so that eight output data (calculation data/original data) can be simultaneously obtained.</p> |
